Confusing paperwork costs people money and sleep. We want everyone to understand what they’re signing, paying and agreeing to.

What we do

Explain My Paper uses AI to read a bill, letter, contract or message and explain it in plain words, in 17 languages. It points out hidden fees, deadlines and anything unusual, suggests next steps, and can write a reply for you. It also checks suspicious messages for scam warning signs, and compares two versions of a document to show what changed.

Who it’s for

Anyone who has stared at a bill wondering why it went up. People reading documents in a second language. Adult children helping their parents with paperwork. Anyone who wants to check a message before clicking a link.

How it works

When you add a document, its text or photos are sent to an AI model that reads it and writes a plain-language explanation. We ask the AI to keep names, numbers, dates and amounts exactly as they appear, and to point out anything that could cost you money or needs action. We don’t store your document.

What we are not

We are not lawyers, doctors or financial advisors, and AI can make mistakes. Always check important details against the original document, and talk to a qualified professional for serious decisions.
